Study connects brain plaques to Alzheimer's risk

Scientists at Washington University in St. Louis have detected which full of health people with amyloid brain plaques have an increased risk of building Alzheimer's mildew later on.

The researchers analyzed a results of cognitive tests over a years, and found which people with a brain plaques had declining scores -- though those without a plaques did not. In addition, sure areas of a brain which have been influenced by Alzheimer's were not as big in people with a plaques.

The hope is which a scientists' work will eventually lead to a approach to diagnose Alzheimer's earlier.
